Badoux

THE SIGNATURE OF AN EXCEPTIONAL TERROIR

Maison Henri Badoux was founded in 1908 in Aigle, in the Chablais region, by Henri Badoux, a passionate visionary. It was in the heart of the Clos les Murailles vineyard that the adventure began, giving birth to the iconic “Aigle les Murailles”, a wine that has become a veritable symbol of Swiss winegrowing history. Its southern exposure, influenced by the foehn wind, and its dry-stone walls provide a rich terroir for the cultivation of vines. Since its beginnings, the company has combined tradition and innovation, and this philosophy has been handed down from generation to generation, shaping its history.

Today, the company is renowned for the quality of its wines. It cultivates mainly the emblematic grape varieties of the canton of Vaud, such as Chasselas and Pinot Noir, but also other varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Merlot. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, Maison Henri Badoux continues to write its history, preserving its heritage while exploring new avenues to produce wines of character.
