Castello di Querceto

Owned by the Francis family since 1897, Castello di Querceto has retained its medieval appearance since its Longobard origins (year 1000). Located just a few kilometres from Greve in Chianti, surrounded by green hills, the entire property covers 190 hectares, 90 of which are cultivated with vineyards and 10 with olive groves.

The estate produces the red grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Colorino, Merlot, Mammolo, Ciliegiolo and Malvasia Nera. As for the whites, there are the traditional Malvasia del Chianti and Trebbiano Toscano.
