The BIG One

St-Louis La Perdrix Castle

Located in the heart of the Camargue, Château Saint-Louis La Perdrix, whose reputation dates back to the 13th century, extends over 50 hectares of vines in one piece and 7 hectares of olive trees. Its terroir, composed of rolled pebbles, is conducive to the maturation of grapes worthy of the greatest vintages of the Rhône Valley. The Castan family is committed to demanding excellence in order to offer new generations the choice of perpetuating what they have inherited, while listening to and respecting nature. The estate's wines in the Costières de Nîmes appellation give a taste of freedom: silky, rich and generous like these THE BIG ONE white and red wines.

BIG One Rouge Costières de Nîmes AOC: In the oldest plot of the estate, the Carignan grapes are harvested manually. The Syrah and Grenache are harvested, destemmed and then vinified, promoting optimal extraction of tannins. Aging in barrels gives this vintage toasted notes, coated with melted and elegant tannins. The color is intense and deep. The elegant and complex nose combines fruity and toasted notes. Supple and powerful, the palate expresses aromas of small red and black fruits such as cherry and blackberry.
