Specific features
Lucrezie Sangiovese is made from the typical Sangiovese grape varieties from the hills surrounding Todi, combined with Merlot and other red grape varieties. Once the grapes are brought to the cellar, they are pressed and separated using a destemmer. The must is then left in contact with the skins for 8 to 12 days. After the coarse lees are removed, the wine is placed in steel tanks to age for approximately four months. After an additional three months of maturation in the bottle, the wine is ready to be enjoyed. The winemaking process involves short maceration on the skins, followed by aging in steel tanks and in the bottle. This helps preserve the aromatic characteristics and freshness of the wine.
